Live Country, Folk, Roots and Rock Music – Set Material

Jacquie Drew & the Crew perform a mixture of live country, roots and rock tunes for venues and events of all types — and we are now booking for shows in the Calgary Area for Stampede 2013!! Jacquie is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and while she has a broad repertoire of cover songs, she loves to perform some originals in every show.  Depending on the show and the setting, she can have the room dancing all night, singing along, or listening very quietly to some her colourful stories.    Shows contain 10% – 100% original material depending on the setting and the purpose (dancing versus listening).  This gives the band broad appeal, and we often get the comment: “I DON’T NORMALLY LIKE COUNTRY, BUT I LOVE YOUR MUSIC!”  from people of all ages and musical preferences!

Live Country Music, with Roots and Rock Mix

Jacquie performs solo, or with up to a 5 piece band that usually includes drums, bass, fiddle, lead guitar, keyboard, and backup vocals.  Depending on the show, Jacquie sings while performing on guitar, harmonica, accordion, banjo and/or keyboard.  She and the band work very hard to make each show fresh, and geared to the audience.  While the core of our repertoire is country, we also work in up to 50% rock/pop and roots for variety – and we love to ensure great Canadian artists are a part of the mix.  The following songs are listed with the artists who recorded them:
