“Original country, roots and blues, to fill your soul or stomp your boots!” Yes, that was the word “original”! The band loves playing Jacquie’s original tunes and insists on a heavy dose of them in every show (in fact, this is why Jacquie has a band – they like her tunes!). That said, Jacquie has some favourite covers she enjoys “making her own” (see list below) – and depending on the show and the setting, she can have the room dancing all night, singing along, or listening very quietly to some her colourful stories. For you “numbers people,” our music appeals to a broad audience – literally from 25 – 90 years old (we’d peg the average age of patrons/fans around 39 – also related to the nice venues we play in), and shows contain 40 – 100% original material depending on the setting and the purpose (dancing versus listening). So, while we do not perform “all cover tunes” shows, many people can listen all night, love the music, and perhaps not realize they are listening to original music… We often get the comment: “WOW, I DON’T NORMALLY LIKE COUNTRY, but I LOOOVE YOUR MUSIC!” from people of all ages and musical preferences!

CHRISTMAS, HOLIDAY, AND SPECIAL OCCASION MUSIC: SET MATERIAL
Jacquie and her band are adept at performing for special occasions such as Christmas or private/corporate functions. Jacquie already has a wide repertoire of Christmas music (favouring jazzy/pop Christmas music) and can also learn special favorite tunes by request. We are continually seeking to add to our repertoire, and typically requests for new songs can be accommodated quickly and without additional charges (although tips for requests are appreciated!).
